Terms of Service

This is a draft. It has not been reviewed by legal counsel. The structure and clauses describe how the platform actually operates, but they must be reviewed and approved by a lawyer before being relied on. Items marked “[to be decided]” need a business decision.

1. About this document

These terms govern the use of the Digital Wealth Makers platform (“the platform”). By creating an account or using the services you accept them.

2. Your account

Most features require an account. The details you register must be accurate, and keeping your password and access secure is your responsibility. The platform may suspend an account that supplied false information or breached these terms.

3. The platform's role in a transaction

In products and classifieds the contracting parties are the buyer and the seller; the platform provides introduction, communication and secure payment. It is not a party to the sale, and quality, authenticity and delivery are the seller's responsibility.

In specialized services the provider is the platform itself, and responsibility for delivery rests with the platform directly.

4. Verification and badges

A “verified” badge and the verification levels reflect a review of documents the user supplied. They are not a guarantee of goods quality or of the counterparty's financial standing.

5. Payments, wallet and escrow

Payments are made through licensed gateways and the internal wallet. On orders that use escrow, funds are held by the platform until delivery is confirmed. Wallet balances are held in toman.

6. Financing

A financing application enters the review queue once the review fee is paid. The fee pays for the assessment itself and is not returned after the application enters the queue, whether the outcome is an approval or a refusal. The amount is shown to you before payment.

7. Content you publish

You are responsible for the content of your listings, products, posts and messages. Content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or contrary to export restrictions will be removed. By publishing, you permit the platform to display, translate and index that content.

8. Automatic translation

Some content is translated automatically into the other supported languages. Your original text is never rewritten, and in the event of a discrepancy the original prevails.

9. Prohibited conduct

Circumventing platform payment, bulk unsolicited messaging, creating fake accounts, automated scraping, and any attempt to disrupt the service are prohibited.

10. Service interruption

The platform may pause the service for maintenance or improvement and will endeavour to give notice beforehand.

11. Liability

The platform is not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, from your commercial decisions, or from outages outside its control, except to the extent the law provides otherwise. [to be decided: liability cap]

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Material changes are announced through the platform, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
